Taking Your Measurements
Measuring for your kilt is straightforward, and don’t worry—we’ll double-check everything before we start making it. Once you have selected your kilt, we will get in touch for these details.
You’ll need someone else to help measure you. Stand up straight and look forward while they take the measurements.
Kilt Waist: Measure around your natural waist, which is typically at belly button level. This should be a snug measurement—not loose.
Kilt Seat: Take this around the widest part of your hips or bottom. It should be a relaxed measurement—leave about three fingers inside the tape to keep it comfortably loose.
Kilt Length: While still standing straight and looking forward, measure from about 1 inch above your natural waist (belly button level) straight down to the middle of your kneecap. Slightly bending your knee can help find the centre point.
Each kilt comes with a free set of Matching garters/flashes
